Set in the history department of a modern comprehensive, we follow Rachael Lewis (Blythe Duff) as she prepares a farewell speech for the retiring head master Nick. Written by Rob Fraser, Directed by Pat Harkins, Produced by Linda Fraser. Director of Photography Grant Cameron with original music by Oscar nominated composer Patrick Doyle.

Datum Point were delighted to help The Traverse Theatre celebrate it's 50th Birthday by taking part in the The Culture Show a BBC documentary which included interviews and footage of ‘Ciara' rehearsals.

Blythe was delighted to receive the best actress award for her role as Fay Black in Iron in this years Critics Award for Theatre in Scotland (CATS).

The Traverse Theatre & Datum Point Productions in association with Paines Plough are currently producing David Harrower’s critically acclaimed GOOD WITH PEOPLE at 59E59 Theaters, New York from 27th March - 21st April. Times vary. See THEATRE for more info and to catch up with the reviews.

Blythe was delighted to work with Big Sky Productions in an unusual project ‘Infinite Scotland’ which played various theaters throughout Scotland, including Glasgow’s Celtic Connections. The show was an interesting mix of music, visuals, poetry and facts looking at Scotland’s natural and cultural diversity.

October 2012
Blythe played the role of Fay Black in Rona Munro’s epic theatre piece ‘Iron’ The show was produced by Firebrand in association with Heart of Hawick. Opening in Hawick, it had a critically acclaimed, sell out run throughout the Borders and Glasgow’s Tron Theatre culminating at The Traverse in November.

Datum Point is delighted to be joining forces with Paines Plough, The Traverse, and The Tricycle to bring David Harrower’s beautifully crafted ‘GOOD WITH PEOPLE’ to this years Edinburgh Festival. It will be a double bill along side David Greig’s ‘THE LETTER OF LAST RESORT’ It will be in Traverse 1 from 5 - 26th August and times vary, so make sure you check for details.
